The Detroit Grassroots Atheism Project (DGAP) has the primary goal of raising awareness about atheism and atheists through direct interaction with the public that we call "street teaching". The goals of this group can't be defined until more progress is made in forming it, but some ideas include social and support activity, hosting speakers and authors, and perhaps some Humanist activism.

We are a community of atheists, agnostics, and other theistically challenged people residing in the Northeast Ohio area.
